Dear Kramer Family, We will miss Ed here at Plum Island. I've worked with him for over 7 years and can honestly say that he always had time for me and my questions and was always willing to help. There are not many people like that in today's world. He was very special. Alice, I could see how much you loved him just in the way that you packed his lunches. There was a small baggie with two or three cucumber slices, a baggie with his sandwich, a baggie with his cookies and about four other baggies with different things. When commenting on this, he said that you had been doing this for years. Again, I don't see this much in today's world either. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Ed was a special person and I can't even imagine how much he will be missed.
